43rd edition from the 4th  to thr 9th of July 2022, from Todi to Nazzano

 

PADDLING, CYCLING, WALKING, EATING AND MORE FROM UMBRIA TO ROME…and then to the sea

TiberTour is a 7 days yearly river tour for paddlers, cyclists, walkers.

It starts from Umbria  and after crossing the city of Rome, ends at the river mouth at sea.

The TiberTour aims to promote sport, nature, local tourism through healthy and respectful understanding of the environment along the Tiber valley.

Traditionally it is held from the 25th of April, starting from Città di Castello, to the 1st of May ending in Rome. However, since COVID spread out, dates can change.

The Tiber is a WW 1-2 class river with a couple of WW III class passages, according to the water level; portage is generally possible.

Outdoor Activities

• Paddling: 6 days of guided stages
• Bike/Walking: 2 days walking and 4 days cycling.

Cultural activities

Several guided tours (for some tours adults may pay a small contribution of 5 euro) in archeological  and historical sites and protected areas.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Some common dinners in local inn/tavern will be organized, better if you book in advance (average cost 20 euro adult and 15 euro under 18).
